No new faces at Jambos

Hearts boss Craig Levein admits he won’t seek any new players in January – after adding 18 to his squad in summer.

Despite his side’s charge at the league summit being halted by injuries, he predicts a quiet window.

Striker David Vanecek will arrive at the turn of the year after agreeing a pre- contract deal from Czech club Teplice six months ago.

And Levein admits returns for Christophe Berra, Steven Naismith, John Souttar, Uche Ikpeazu and Jamie Brandon mean fresh faces aren’t needed.
