BRENDAN ’S A PARTY HOOPER
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed there will be NO celebration party if they win today's Betfred Cup Final at sell-out Hampden. The Parkhead gaffer could seal his seventh trophy on the spin against Aberdeen at Hampden - matching a record set by former Rangers manager Walter Smith. It would also be the first leg of a potential triple A Treble for the
Hoops but Rodgers insists there will be no wild celebrations if they emerge victorious.
With Motherwell up next at Fir Park on Wednesday, he said: “There won’t be any celebration if we win. We must work the next day.
“When we won a previous League Cup Final, we went to Fir Park a week later and were 2-0 down at half time. Thankfully we came back.
“There was a celebration after that final win.”
