Robbo no ban leader
Stephen Robinson held back from an all- out assault on ref eree Willie Col lum because he feared a 50-game ban for the truth.
The whistler chalked off what the Motherwell boss thought was a perfectly good goal in the eighth minute.
Robinson said: “It was frustrating because the level of performance was there.
“We dominated large parts of the game which doesn’t happen too often at Tynecastle. They had one shot on target all day and we’ve had a perfectly good goal disallowed.
“I ’ ve heard two different explanations for why it was ruled out but the less I say about referees and decision the better.
“I’d probably end up with a 50-game ban. It’s best to say nothing.”
The defeat was Well’s third in their past five games but Robinson was less disappointed than he has been.
He said: “There’s a way in which to lose and today we were excellent. You can’t always dictate the outcome if decisions go against you.”
