The 32-year-old actor, from Elderslie, Renfrewshire, is currently being feted by LA’s finest after being nominated for two top best actor gongs – one in the Golden Globes and the other in the Critics Choice Awards.

There’s got to be a 007 call-up coming his way.

The Bodyguard star has rocketed on to the radar of the great and the good in Hollywood and appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show last week to reveal that his raunchy sex scenes in Bodyguard left his poor mum “hysterical”.
