I’ve got an ice new addiction

Ozzy Osbourne has swapped booze and drugs for a sweeter habit – ice cream.

Ozzy said: “I just have all this ice cream in the freezer and I cannot stop eating it.

“I like eating two at a time, so that I can eat them in one go so that they don’t melt all at once.

“I just have to give them away sometimes to stop me eating so many.”

But Ozzy says he retains his lean frame with a daily exercise regime.

The 70-year-old added: “I exercise a lot, even if I go from one craving to the next.

“I have got all this junk in my body – drugs, alcohol, and all the rest of that s***. I’m trying to keep my wits and stay fit, so I exercise every day.

“To be honest with you, I should be dead, but I go for a regular physical. You have got to.

“My father died of prostate cancer, so I’m doing what he wouldn’t do. You’ve got to maintain yourself.

“My doctor goes, ‘ You’ve got a good heart and you’re going well’. I feel great.”

Wife Sharon says she’s seen Ozzy’s addictive personality switch to food.

She said: “My husband is kind of addicted to certain foods. And he will eat a certain food for two or maybe three months – and then he won’t touch it again.

“But he will only eat that food. For example, chicken.

“And then the chicken goes to the grilled fish. Then he is just on the fish for two or three months, then he is a vegan for three months. That is what he does.”
