Some shops selling charity Christmas cards donate just 10 per cent a pack to good causes.

Aldi donates 25 per cent of the pack price, but Asda, Sainsbury’s and WH Smith give only 10 per cent.

Morr i sons donates £ 75,000 to CLIC Sargent from sales – so it’s hard to know how this works out per card.

In comparison, Cards For Good Causes, donates 70 per cent.
