Meghan’s sister in plea to end rift

-

Meghan Markle’s sister has sent her an emotional Christmas card begging her to end her rift with their dad before it is too late.

Samantha Markle, 54, penned the card to the Duchess in a desperate bid to reunite the pair as she fears Thomas, 74, may not live until next Christmas.

Writing in the card, decorated with two robins, she told the former Suits actress “the holidays are a time for fami ly and are sentimental.

“As you know dad has been trying to contact you and is very hurt because you are avoiding him.

“Life is short and you know dad is wonderful. Please give him joy in his last years by showing that you love him. The time is now. Please think about this.”

She wrote one card for Meghan and Harry wishing t hem bot h a happy christmas and the second personal message in a card for her half-sister.

Samantha said: “My dad could die before next Christmas.

“I’m hoping that won’t be the case, but after what he has been through, he’s at a high risk because his heart is damaged. It would be horribly tragic and sad if he doesn’t get to be around to resolve this.

“I think Meg would harbour a lot of regret if this were his last Christmas alive and she didn’t reach out and make things right.

“There is not another day or week guaranteed, so Meg needs to act quickly. The clock is ticking.”
