Racist, vicious, outlawed.. and recruiting at a uni near you Neo-Nazi group target students on campus

Billy Briggs A far-right group accused of being a front for neoNazis have tried to recruit at Scottish universiti­es.

Generation Identity Scotland are part of a European- wide movement that oppose s I s l am, immi g r a t i on a nd multicultu­ralism.

One of their members has been linked to the banned neo-Nazi group National Action and GI members in France were exposed this month for racist attacks and giving Nazi salutes.

GI Scotland put up posters at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University in a recruitmen­t bid.

Both universiti­es have since removed them and a probe has been launched and Police Scotland informed.

A GI poster at the Department of Vision Science at Glasgow Caledonian University said: “You are not alone. Patriots walk among you. Join the patriotic revolution.”

GI Scotland tweeted a photo of the poster and said: “The worst thing you can do in these dark times is remain silent. Join the fastest growing patriotic movement in the UK.”

After t he same poster was put up at Glasgow Un iversit y, GI Scot l and tweeted: “Many are ostracised at universiti­es because they do not share the ethnomasoc­histic tendencies of fellow students and, instead, want to preserve their ethnocultu­ral identity.”

A spokespers­on for Glasgow Caledonian University said: “Three posters were removed as soon as they were discovered.
