TV dance show expert reveals fans at

The judges of Strictly Come Dancing have revealed they are heading to Scotland to feel like rock stars.

Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas are taking part in the show’s UK tour, which has a date at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow in February.

It is the f irst time all four members of Strictly’s judging panel have been on the road together.

And Australian Craig, 53, a veteran of the tour since 2010 and who is also director of the show, says they get to experience a different level of stardom.

He said: “The atmosphere and level of excitement are something it’s hard to describe if you haven’t experience­d it for yourself. With 12,000 people cheering you on, you get some idea of what it must feel like to be Lady Gaga.”

Bruno, 63, agrees and can’t wait to be back in front of the live crowd. He said: “It’s only when you walk into those packed arenas that you truly appreciate the strength and success of Strictly.

“These are the real fans. To be honest, it makes you feel like a rock star. It certainly gets the adrenalin pumping. I’m always apprehensi­ve before I go on stage but I’d suspect myself if I wasn’t. Nerves mean that you’re taking it seriously.”

For Darcey, 49, nowhere says it better than Glasgow. The former ballerina has been a Strictly judge for seven years but she joined the tour for the first time at the beginning of 2018 and was blown away by the response of the audience at the SSE Hydro.

She said : “People a lways appreciate it, I think, that you’ve made the effort to come to their city. But the enormity of the arenas where the Strictly tour takes place is something else.

“I simply couldn’t believe the noise levels – I think Glasgow were the loudest. I’d been told to expect a big reception but this was off the
