Women dominate in race for Brits
Women dominate this year’s Brits shortlist, with Dua Lipa and Anne-Marie both earning four nominations.
Lipa has two nominations for best single and two for best artist video, while Anne-Marie is up for best female solo artist among her four nods.
Jess Glynne gets two nominations, including one for best female solo artist.
Jor ja Smith gets the nod for best album, best female solo artist and best breakthrough act.
In the singles category, Lipa’s IDGAF will compete with Glynne’s I’ll Be There and Clean Bandit and Demi Lovato’s Solo.
And the best album gong will see Smith, The 1975 and George Ezra go head to head.
