Women dom­i­nate in race for Brits

Women dom­i­nate this year’s Brits short­list, with Dua Lipa and Anne-Marie both earn­ing four nom­i­na­tions.

Lipa has two nom­i­na­tions for best sin­gle and two for best artist video, while Anne-Marie is up for best fe­male solo artist among her four nods.

Jess Glynne gets two nom­i­na­tions, in­clud­ing one for best fe­male solo artist.

Jor ja Smith gets the nod for best al­bum, best fe­male solo artist and best break­through act.

In the sin­gles cat­e­gory, Lipa’s IDGAF will com­pete with Glynne’s I’ll Be There and Clean Ban­dit and Demi Lo­vato’s Solo.

And the best al­bum gong will see Smith, The 1975 and Ge­orge Ezra go head to head.
