Anger at theme park kid rip-off

Theme parks have been slammed for charg­ing chil­dren the same ticket prices as adults.

Un­der- threes get free en­try to Chess­ing­ton World of Ad­ven­tures and Le­goland Wind­sor – but after that prices rise quickly.

Ev­ery vis­i­tor over three pays the full amount at Le­goland whi le those aged three to 11 get a small dis­count on the 12 and over rate at Chess­ing­ton.

Mar t y n Jame s , of c on­sumer com­pla ints web­site Re­solver, said: “How is it fair that a huge range of busi­nesses charge adult prices from 12?”

The British As­so­ci­a­tion of Leisure Parks, Piers and At­trac­tions said: “There is no set rule for pric­ing. It is con­sid­ered on an at­trac­tionby-at­trac­tion ba­sis.”
