Anger at theme park kid rip-off

-

Theme parks have been slammed for charging children the same ticket prices as adults.

Under- threes get free entry to Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland Windsor – but after that prices rise quickly.

Every visitor over three pays the full amount at Legoland whi le those aged three to 11 get a small discount on the 12 and over rate at Chessington.

Mar t y n Jame s , of c onsumer compla ints website Resolver, said: “How is it fair that a huge range of businesses charge adult prices from 12?”

The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions said: “There is no set rule for pricing. It is considered on an attractionby-attraction basis.”
