THE BIG SHOT
Brave quadruple amputee Corinne Hutton sits up in bed smiling after becoming Scotland’s first double-hand transplant patient.
The campaigner for the charity Finding Your Feet went through a 12-hour operation at Leeds General Infirmary.
Single mum Corinne, 47, from Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire, had her hands and legs below the knee amputated after falling ill with pneumonia and sepsis in 2013.
She said: “I’ve got fingers… and they can move – I shouldn’t be doing that, right enough, but it’s incredible.”
