Killed by roll holder

A pensioner died af ter falling in his bathroom and impal ing his eye on an upright metal toilet roll holder, an inquest heard.

John Garrett, 79, was found in his bathroom at a sheltered housing complex in Ryde, Isle of Wight, last September.

Isle of Wight coroner Caroline Sumeray concluded John died as a result of an accident.
