Jaguar deal is ace for NHS
Jaguar Land Rover and Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust have confirmed a fleet of 700 I-Pace vehicles for public sector staff across the country.
The agreement will give staff from more than 200 organisations access to lease Jaguar’s all-electric I-Pace over three years.
The zero-emissions I-Pace SUV boosts the NHS’s ambition to reduce its carbon footprint.
The company unveiled its new all- electric Honda e in Europe last week with spectacular results.
It was first seen as a concept car two-and-a-half years ago but no one thought they would be brave enough to build it.
They were and they did – and they aced it, giving us a car that befits the 21st century.

Crafted from the ground up as an electric model, it is crammed full of connectivity and all the advantages that come with that.
But, f irst and foremost, it looks different from anything that has gone before with its neat snub nose, John Lennon glasses headlights, smooth lines with integrated handles and a pretty rear, all sitting on 17in alloys.
Inside, it has a lounge-like feel with fabric seats and wooden trim – and then we get to the nitty- gritty. Right across the dash, from one side to another, are five screens. At either end are the pictures from the cameras that have replaced the wing mirrors. They even work in the rain.
Behind the steering wheel is the third screen with driver information and sat nav detail.
