Trincao is crack player

-

Rangers will face the man earmarked to replace Luis Suarez at Barcelona next season when they play Braga later this month.

Top - r a t ed hi t k id Francisco Trincao agreed a £26million deadline-day move to La Liga – but will stay at the Portuguese club until the summer.

Barca superstar Antoine Griezmann posted a comment on Instagram, calling the Portuguese kid “football manager crack”.

And the Catalan giants have included a £ 420m release clause in the deal – a clear sign of how much they rate the 20-year-old.

Suarez will be out of the game until at least April after surgery on his injured right knee.

Barca boss Quique Setien has been looking at long-term replacements for the 33-year- old and TRINCAO £26m deal

insisted he was delighted to land Trincao.

But the delayed move means Braga’s talisman will be free to play Gers in the Europa League last-32 home-and-away ties.

Braga visit Glasgow on February 20 before the decider at the Municipal Stadium six days later.

Trincao first hit the headlines two years ago when he helped Portugal win the European Under 19s Championships.

He has scored three goals in 22 games this term and chipped in with six assists.

Braga have won their first six games under new manager Ruben Amorim, and clinched the Portugal League Cup.

Meanwhile, Braga have smashed their transfer record to sign Barcelona B striker Abel Ruiz for £8m on a five-year deal.

The 20-year- old Barca academy kid wanted to leave in search of first-team football and will be eligible to face Rangers this month.
