Mick Kennedy couldn’t hide his delight after guiding Darvel to their f irst Scottish Cup quarter-final in 35 years.

Peasy went in front through Roddy Paterson but goals either side of half- time by Danny Boyle and Allan McKenzie sealed their last- eight spot.

Kennedy, whose side now face Broughty Ferry, said: “I’m delighted for everyone at the club.”
