Diddy plate up for sale

“Diddy” David Hamilton has put his personalised number plate on sale for £30,000.

The former Radio 1 DJ, 81, bought D1 DDY for £5000 at a DVLA auction in 1990.

Reg Transfers has the plate listed for sale.

David revealed he had sold the Mini it was once on.

He added: “The word diddy doesn’t suit the giant Range Rovers I’ve had since.”
