She hits the roof over trip to French wedding venue.. he says divorce is being dragged out
The Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt split is being dubbed the nastiest divorce in Hollywood history – which is saying something, given a long list of toxic Tinseltown break-ups.
We can reveal Angelina hit the roof after learning of Brad’s affair with German model Nicole Poturalski – at 27, not even half his age.
Angelina, 45, f lipped after Brad, 56, reportedly took his new flame to Chateau Miraval, a £ 50million vineyard estate which the former couple co- own in the south of France. It was where Brad and Angelina wed in 2014 in front of their kids Maddox, 19, Pax, 16 , Zahara, 15, Shi loh, 14, a nd twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
An insider said: “Angie is furious and utterly stunned Brad could stoop this low.
“She was h i gh ly hopeful they could dial down the intensity after a terrible summer of fighting but now that ’ s total ly off the table.
“It grosses her out that he’s cavorting around Europe so publicly with this girl, instead of keeping a private and dignified lid on his love life.
“The fact he’s apparently taken them to her marital home is just beyond tacky and inappropriate, however Brad wants to cut it.
“This will make it even harder for them to see eye-to- eye about anything and has taken them to a whole new low that nobody imagined possible.”
Maleficent star Angelina and Brad were thought to have called a ceasefire recently, after years of squabbling in the courts over the welfare of their kids.
Brad had been making frequent visits to Angelina’s Los Angeles mansion as the pair tried to resolve their differences.
But she stunned him by then filing paperwork to replace the private judge who is mediating the terms of their split. That sparked a tirade of name-calling and leaked stories from both sides.

dragged out unnecessarily. The judge – John W Ouderkirk – officiated at the couple’s wedding. As anger raged on both sides, Angelina issued a cryptic statement saying: “I think only my children could explain who I am, really.”
But an insider said: “The way Brad sees it, she’s made his life hell for years by blocking so many of his basic requests and his efforts to be fair and cordial.
“He’s always said he’ll stand up to her for what’s right but she wants everything on her own terms.
“They’ve each spent an absolute fortune, hundreds of thousands if not millions at this point, on legal fees fighting each other and filing motions back and forth.
“Basically, they’re two extremely proud and stubborn people who have a strong point of view and won’t back down. dow It’s just a crying shame those poor children are stuck in the middle of it all.”
The battles are a far cry from the early days of their romance, after the pair starred starr in Mr & Mrs Smith. It was 2005 – the year Brad and Jennifer Aniston divorced.
He and Angelina were feted as the biggest bigg showbiz couple since Richard Burton Burt and Elizabeth Taylor.
But Bu it all came crashing down in September Sept 2016, after an infamous incident incid on board a private jet when Brad reportedly turned on his family.
Adopted son Maddox is said to have stuck up for his mum only to be caught in the crossfire – and all hell broke loose. Brad denied physically reprimanding Maddox.
But Angelina filed for divorce. Brad later acknowledged a drink problem but said he quit alcohol because he “didn’t want to live that way any more”.
An insider said: “Brad feels like Angie basical ly gave him a life sentence for being a bad husband. But he’s sober now and wants to move on with his life in peace.
“The way he sees it, she won’t let him and will punish him in any way she can from now into eternity.”
Besides his new companion Nicole, the actor has been linked to a handful of other women.
He denied a reported affair with Massachusetts professor Neri Oxman, 44, while there were rumours of a f ling with Arrested Development actress Alia Shawkat, 31, plus lingering gossip linking him to a potential reunion with his ex- wife Jennifer, 51. A source said: “He’s enjoyed some discreet dates and is having a lot of fun with Nicole. Does a part of him enjoy upsetting Angie? He’d never admit that but it must do or why else would he rub her face in it by essentially parading her around Europe?”
Angelina, meanwhile, took her kids on a sushi date to Nobu in Malibu – amid claims the press was tipped off.
An insider said: “The paps have been gossiping that they knew about her arrival and that she did it to send Brad – as well as the world – a very clear message. She hates any perception she may be losing to him in any way, shape or form and wants everyone to believe that she’s not bothered by his immature behaviour.
“But everyone knows she’s privately furious beyond belief and that this is just another sad chapter in their never- ending battle.
“It looks like they’ll fight it out for years to come, barring some type of miracle or dramatic change of heart.”
It is understood that Angelina is in no hurry to follow her ex back into the dating scene.
An insider said: “Her whole world revolves around those kids, plus she’s extremely busy with work and doesn’t really have time for romance.
“She hasn’t ruled out meeting someone special down the line, and there have been one or two flirtations. But they haven’t really gone anywhere.
“It goes without saying she’d have preferred Brad to have waited until the divorce terms were final before he went public with this new romance.
“If things were ugly before he stepped out with Nicole, they’re on a whole new level now.”
