Amy Macdonald has revealed how her husband Richard Foster has put her to shame during lockdown as he learned new skills while she lazed about.
The This Is The Life singer, 33, said the Partick Thistle defender has kept busy du r ing the Cov id- 19 pandemic as she enjoyed putting her feet up.
Amy, from Bishopbriggs, near Glasgow, admitted that she is in awe of “productive” people l ike Richard and wishes she could be more like them.
However, she said the past 12 months has taught her that she enjoys t ime off of f sitting in the house doing “nothing”. She said: “I am one of these people who look at everyone being so productive and just think, ‘Oh gosh, I wish I could be like that.’
“I have learned that I like to sit about and do nothing.
“He has been doing his psychology degree for the past six years but he had the final year in lockdown and passed that.
“He has also been taking Spanish classes over Zoom, he has finished his coaching badges and has been coaching the women’s football team on the side as well we as going to training.

“And then he comes home hom and I just sit about and do nothing.”
LLast year, we revealed the pop star, who was speaking on the Unscripted podcast, refrefused to read the book RicRichard had recently written in ccase it was “rubbish”.
RRichard, 35, who wrote the crimcrime novel in his spare time and is now penning a second, saisaid Amy won’t look at his wowork because she is afraid she won’t like it.
TThe footba l ler, who mamarried Amy in Las Vegas in 22018, said his wife would betbethe last to read it because she would give the most honhonest feedback.
DDespite admitting she is a bit more lazy than her other halhalf, Amy is still raking it in.
