Voyage’ll chart a path to profit at Newmarket

Inspiral would have been favourite for this contest had she not been pulled out of the race by John Gosden last week and Ralph Beckett’s horse had run second to that one a couple of times.
Given that scenario, she is probably overpriced at around 20/1 and definitely worth a tickle if you are looking for something at decent odds.
It’s a competitive card at Flat racing’s HQ and another bet is DESERT ANGEL ( 4.15) in the 10-furlong handicap.
Richard Hannon’s yak has been warming up for this event with a couple of decent efforts and Ryan Moore takes the ride.
Incidentally, Hannon also has a compelling entry on the seven-race meeting at Salisbury in CABRAKAN (4.27)
The three-year-old was a good third on his first try over 1m 2f at Beverley and he looks dangerous with Pat Dobbs booked to do the steering.
The doors are slung open at Hamilton today for the first meeting of the campaign and the
Lanarkshire venue has been rewarded with some reasonable fields.

The four-year- old was a close third to Pearl Of Qatar when last sighted over this trip on his return at Ayr and he can come on for the run.
Iris Dancer put together a run of three successive second-placed finishes at Hamilton last season to show a liking for the track and can go one better with Jason Hart a positive jockey booking.
