Alloa loan star Kieran Offord scored on his debut as the Wasps saw off Clyde.

Alloa took the lead in six minutes when Bradley Rodden knocked in Conor Sammon’s corner. The Bully Wee replied when Andy Rodden crossed for Jordan Allan to finish well.

Alloa retook the lead after 51 minutes when Rodden played in Sammon, who slotted past Neil Parry in the Clyde goal.

St Mirren kid Offord then grabbed Alloa’s third when he capitalised on a defensive lapse. Steven Thicot headed in for Clyde 11 minutes from time to set up a tense finish.

But Offord saw his deflected effort fly in off the unfortunate Brian McLean to seal the win.
