When it comes to Rangers’ R greatest ever goalkeeper g I think it’s now n a toss of a coin between b the pair.

I just call both of them The Th Goalie. That tells you everything. e

McGregor played his 500th 5 game for the club yesterday y at Ibrox which is an incredible achievement. m And he’s certainly the th best keeper I’ve ever played p with.

I’ve played with a few good g ones, by the way. Craig C Gordon with Scotland, S Stefan Klos at Rangers, R Matt Murray at Wolves W and Artur Boruc at a Celtic.

But McGregor tops the lot. lo And it’s all to do with his h mentality.

The guy is a consummate m professional. And I’m I’ talking about even when w he was younger at

WINNER W McGregor Rangers. R He had a set routine ro every day and he was w religious with it.

He’s a winner and that’s th what sets him apart. a It’s difficult to compare c eras but McGregor is now up there with Goram in my eyes.

His time will be defined by big moments, big saves. Werder Bremen, Sparta Prague, numerous stops against Celtic.

That’s where you draw comparisons between McGregor and Goram. They were keepers who put points on the board.

And for anyone who has had a pop at him over the last few years, they will realise how good he is when he’s not there.

I make no apologies for saying I think he should STAY at Rangers next season. He’s got at least another year left in him.

He’s still making big saves and he’s the type of character Michael Beale should want to have in the building driving others around him.
