Mollie dazzles as sexy red devil in Halloween special
MISCHIEVOUS Mollie King looks devilishly sexy last night during Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween show.
The former Saturdays singer donned a dazzling red catsuit for her routine with AJ Pritchard, who had battled back from a bug which left him bedridden. The couple did the cha cha to Kylie Minogue’s Better The Devil You Know. Afterwards Mollie said: “Wow! I’m loving this – dancing to Kylie Minogue.”
Judge Bruno Tonioli, back after missing last week’s show, called their effort “devilishly good”. But head judge Shirley Ballas told Mollie: “You’re wearing your shoulders as earrings,” before the couple scored a very average 27.
Ex JLS singer Aston Merrygold and Janette Manrara did the paso doble to Nirvana classic Smells Like Teen Spirit. Bruno said their performance, which earned a near-perfect 38 points, “brought the dead back to life.” X Factor winner Alexandra Burke performed the tango dressed as a zombie princess to Nelly Furtado’s Maneater, earning more high praise from the judges and a score of 35.
Emmerdale’s Joe McFadden joined Katya Jones to foxtrot to Coldplay’s Trouble dressed as a cobweb. They got 32 with the panel praising Joe’s “brilliant storytelling.” Debbie
McGee got a standing ovation for her Charleston, and went to the top of the leaderboard with 39. This Morning’s Ruth Langsford did the Quickstep to Bewitched by Steve Lawrence. After Craig Revel Horwood panned it, Ruth retorted: “Shall I wriggle my nose and make him disappear?” Paralympic hero Jonnie Peacock got a bottom-placed 20 points after a cha cha to Olly Murs’ Troublemaker dressed as a pirate.
