We’re out for newspapers’ Oscars glory

YOUR campaigning Sunday Mirror has been nominated for three gongs at the newspaper Oscars.

Our story on MP Keith Vaz’s night with two male prostitutes has been nominated for Scoop of the Year at the Press Gazette British Journalism Awards.

Reporter Amy Sharpe is up for New Journalist of the Year. And Grace Macaskill could get the Features Journalism prize for her series on Dignitas.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at London’s De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms.

The Sunday Mirror was among last year’s finalists for our Time To Change mental health crusade.
