I can’t believe what Ryan is having to go through. I love him SUE CLEAVER CORRIE STAR ON RYAN SITUATION

ROXANNE Pallett looks glum yesterday as she is seen in public for the first time since she accused Ryan Thomas of punching her on Celebrity Big Brother.

And the 35-year-old former Emmerdale star probably has plenty to be miserable about as it believed she has forfeited her £75,000 fee by quitting.

Roxanne, spotted at a hotel in Elstree, Herts, has faced an angry backlash after claiming Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw in Corrie, hurt her with a playful punch in a CBB scene.

Other Street stars leapt to his defence, as he became favourite to win the show.

Sue Cleaver, who plays Jason’s on-screen mum Eileen Grimshaw, tweeted: “Horrified at what @ryanjamesthomas is having to go through. I love this beautiful man so much and I know him inside out.”

Alan Halsall, Corrie’s Tyrone Dobbs, said the actor was “one of the nicest humans I know”. Ryan’s brother Adam posted: “All the sh*t he’s going through and he’s still thinking about everyone else. What a guy.”

Roxanne broke down in the diary room after accusing Ryan of punching her and walked out on Friday. Regulator Ofcom received 11,215 complaints from viewers over her reaction to Thursday’s shadow boxing play fight.

Her management said yesterday: “Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some

TEARS Ryan is seen weeping over drama sensitive issues she felt strongly about. She has now been reunited with her fiance and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show.”

Ryan, 34, was given a formal warning over the alleged punch. He insisted there was no malice in his actions and told Roxanne later: “I want you to know from the bottom of my heart I was showing my affection. Maybe it came across the wrong way. I promise you, you’ve got it wrong. I apologise if it has come across that way.”

Roxanne replied: “I’m not questioning your integrity. I just felt shocked and it threw me.”

They agreed to sort out their differences and shook hands.

But then in scenes shown last

night Roxanne is heard sobbing in the Diary Room: “I’m going home, I need out.” She later insisted: “I’ve told the truth.”

During Ben Jardine’s eviction on Friday, the audience can be heard chanting: “Get Roxy out.”

Housemate Sally Morgan told her: “You’re going to get that because of what they’ve seen.”

Roxanne is seen telling housemates: “He’s lying, it wasn’t a little [jab] it’s like he wanted to hit me.” Asked by Kirstie Alley whether she thought Ryan intended to hurt her, she replied: “It hurt. I have never felt an impact of fists going into my ribs in my life.”

Bookies Coral made Ryan 8-15 favourite to win the show.
