US hell and high water
WATERS rise up to flood one of thousands of family homes ruined yesterday as Hurricane Florence hit America’s south east coast – and killed at least five people.
The house and cars fell victim to what police called flooding of “epic proportions” in North Carolina, last night declared a disaster zone by President Donald Trump.
Volunteers rescued residents from homes all over the state, including one snapped saving a beloved pet dog.
With the flood waters still rising and more heavy rain forecast, police urged people who have left home not to return.
