Washing togs is just pants

Sunday Mirror (Northern Ireland) - - Saira Khan -

Like any mum, I hate the washing. Nearly every day

I’m loading uniforms, sheets, sports kits, socks, knickers and towels into that machine.

Then there’s the ironing and folding when I could have been doing something fun, like watching Bodyguard.

So it seemed my prayers were answered when Unilever unveiled Day 2 – billed as the world’s first dry-wash spray for clothes.

They claim it “removes the need for overwashing” and “fabulously removes creases” so you can get rid of the iron.

Too good to be true? You bet. It costs an eye-rinsing £7.50 for just 200ml. Just about enough to cover five of my big pants!

So it’s back to the wash cycle – at least that won’t shrink my bank balance.
