Claire with Halina I definitely toppled down the showbiz rabbit hole this week after competing in a Big London Bake competition chaired by former Steps singer Claire Richards. What the hell?!

The poor lass had to taste my horrendous rum-filled cake as the alcohol fumes nearly sent her to sleep.

She performed tracks from her new record, My Wildest Dreams, and tells me her Steps bandmate and Strictly’s Faye Tozer could never be struck by the BBC1 dance contest’s infamous love curse.

It comes after married Faye,

43, and dance partner Giovanni Pernice, 28, were pictured getting cosy over a meal.

“It’s silly,” Claire, 41, says. “Absolutely no way. It must be stressful. She knows her own mind and she’s not stupid.”

Not as stupid as Claire for unleashing me in the kitchen.
