Drivers from Watford have most prangs
PEOPLE from Watford have the worst record for road accidents in the UK, says a survey.
Just under 27,000 from the Hertfordshire town have been in a crash since 2013 – more than a fifth of the population.
Nearby Hemel Hempstead was close behind, with 21 prangs per 100 residents.
Drivers from Swansea, South Wales, experienced the most road rage, with 69 per cent encountering it, compared to just 29 per cent in Aberystwyth.
MoneySuperMarket analysed data from car insurance buyers. Its spokesman Tom Flack said: “In areas where road rage and car accidents are common, premiums can be higher so shopping around is imperative.”
