Brutal bailiffs face payback

AGGRESSIVE bailiffs who intimidate the vulnerable are being targeted in a Government crackdown.

Tougher laws came into force in 2014 but some bailiffs still use dubious methods, campaigner say.

Victims will be quizzed on tougher protections, including the option of an independent regulator.

Justice Minister Lucy Frazer said: “The majority work within the law but some make lives a misery.”
