Andy would ace Glitterball

It would take a heart of stone not to be moved by Andy Murray announcing his retirement this week.

His body has paid the price for his sporting success and he’s been battling pain in his hips for years.

Many people have criticised Andy for being cold and emotionless but those tears proved how passionate he really is.

Whether you are a star tennis player or working in Poundworld, it is devastating to have to leave a job when it’s not on your terms.

But I somehow reckon Andy will be OK. Who knows, maybe he’ll be following in his mum’s footsteps on to the Strictly dance floor.
