Wayne’s world is odd, I swear

Surprise, surprise, Wayne Rooney has slipped up again – this time he was arrested for swearing and being drunk at Washington’s Dulles Airport.

Apparently long-suffering wife Coleen has put her foot down and barred him from going out alone.

I can’t think of anything worse than micromanaging my hubby like that. He’s been on a few golf holidays with the lads and I’ve never once called to find out what he’s doing or who he’s with. Because I trust him. And I’m not his mother.

I know so many couples in which one feels the need to constantly phone or text the other when they’re away, like monitoring a naughty teenager. It’s hard enough to look after two kids, never mind parenting my man.
