Woman who kicked stranger to death jailed for 10 years
A THUG who kicked a stranger to death has been sentenced to 10 and a half years in jail.
Rio Liburd, 32, was high on booze and drugs during her unprovoked attack on alcoholic David Baxter, 59.
He was targeted in his neighbour’s flat in Huddersfield, West Yorks, in September last year.
Liburd kicked and stamped on his head during several attacks
BOASTS Liburd scoffed over attack before the fatal assault. She had asked him: “How are you living like this, you f***ing tramp?”
Mr Baxter died in hospital two days later. Liburd, from Kirklees, bragged on social media about leaving him bleeding and unconscious. At Leeds Crown Court, she admitted manslaughter.
Mr Justice Lavender told her: “He was, sadly, an alcoholic, which rendered him unable to defend himself against your attack and more susceptible to the fatal injury.”
