Cri­sis cen­tre chief ‘dis­ap­pointed’ Irish ex­perts not

A SEX­UAL as­sault fa­cil­ity chief said she is dis­ap­pointed Irish ex­perts were not in­volved in ed­u­cat­ing rugby play­ers about re­spect for women.

Noe­line Black­well of the Dublin Rape Cri­sis Cen­tre told the Sun­day Mir­ror: “Clearly the IRFU had a prob­lem that last year their val­ues were not be­ing demon­strated in the be­hav­iour of their play­ers or their un­der­stand­ing of the treat­ment of women in those What­sApp mes­sages.

“I’m dis­ap­pointed none of the Irish ex­perts seem to have been in­volved. It is puz­zling that an English com­pany was brought in.

“I’m dis­ap­pointed that the peo­ple who know what it’s like from the per­spec­tive of those who are harmed weren’t en­gaged a lit­tle bit bet­ter. We have things we
