A BUSI­NESS con­sor­tium backed by Euro­pean money are ready to of­fer to buy Hud­der­s­field in a £50mil­lion knock­down bid.

Chair­man and owner Dean Hoyle, who cel­e­brates his 52nd birth­day on Tues­day, is in ill-health and has en­dured a lengthy hospi­tal stay suf­fer­ing from pan­cre­ati­tis. He now wants some­one to come in and take his beloved Hud­der­s­field for­ward.

The Ter­ri­ers have al­ways been pro-Euro­pean with two Ger­man man­agers in David Wag­ner and cur­rent boss Jan Siew­ert.

The con­sor­tium, with their Euro­pean fi­nan­cial back­ing, be­lieve they are the per­fect club in which to in­vest.
