Killers spark a hotel siege
ARMED military last night had three attackers surrounded after they shot dead a hotel guard.
The gunmen who stormed the hotel were holed-up in a staircase as helicopters flew overhead.
They appeared to have reached the first floor of the hotel in Gwadar, a port in south west Pakistan.
Most of the guests had been evacuated from the five-star Pearl Continental Hotel and there were no other reports of casualties.
Several militant groups operate in the area and the Baloch Liberation Army, fighting for independence, claimed responsibility for the attack, said a report.
