‘Mobilise’ to stop the right
THE threat posed by the far-right is now at its worst in almost 40 years, John McDonnell warned.
He said people had to “mobilise at every level” and stand up to the rise of populist figures such as Tommy Robinson and Nigel Farage. He warned: “The ON RISE problem with Farage and the Tommy Robinson element is that it’s going to extremes, maybe more than we’ve seen for three or four decades.
“There’s a risk of the far-right and the fascists getting a toehold in British politics.
“I dealt with the BNP and National Front in my community and I know what their threat is. We must halt it.”
