Aisle be damned! It’s BGT star Colin
COLIN Thackery may have won Britain’s Got Talent, but he showed he is not letting fame go to his head as he picked up his own groceries.
After his supermarket trip, the war veteran, 89, hopped on the bus, despite bagging a £250,000 prize in the ITV talent show last week.
Smartly dressed in a dark uniform, the kindly Chelsea Pensioner was happy to chat to fans who were delighted to see him out in London.
Colin lives at the veterans’ residence Royal Hospital Chelsea, in South West London, which he says he plans to donate all of his prize money to.
He will sing at Royal Variety Performance, as part of his prize for winning BGT this year.
