Goss produced these charming pieces from 1888 after receiving permission from a variety of towns to use their crests. These were mass-produced by the Falcon Pottery in many shapes – from old boots to pots with lids. The better money lies with ceramic models of famous British buildings – and these are far more colourful. Some buildings and cottages can fetch several hundred pounds. Most Goss pieces will cost between £5 and £50.
