I’LL KILL ROSE

Serial killer Dennehy’s threat forced jail chiefs to transfer evil West to another prison

ROSE West was booted out her cushy prison cell after more than a decade because serial killer Joanna Dennehy threatened to murder her.

The 64-year-old House of Horrors monster burst into tears as prison chiefs packed up her belongings for a transfer from Low Newton jail in Co Durham.

A source said: “West lived a life of luxury in there. She’s got it made because she’s in the lifers’ unit. She doesn’t even leave her cell and they bring food to her.

“So she was gutted when she had to leave. She was in tears and the prison officers just packed her things up. She was really upset and didn’t want to go.

“It’s been her home for more than 10 years and West is an elderly woman. Low Newton is the highest security prison for women in the country and they had to send Dennehy there.

“She’s one of the UK’s most dangerous inmates. She said: ‘Send me there and I’ll f ***** g kill Rose West.’ Prison officials took the threat seriously. They moved West to another prison because they said it was a massive security threat.

“Dennehy can’t stand Rose and has threatened to kill her before.

“When Dennehy was told she was being moved the first thing she said was, ‘I’ll kill that b **** .’”

West left the Category A prison on June 13 and was transferred to New Hall jail in Wakefield, West Yorks.

Dennehy, 35, known as one of the country’s most notorious female killers, is believed to have arrived at Low Newton the same day. She is serving a life term for stabbing three men to death in March 2013 in what became known as the Peterborough ditch murders.

The thug also knifed two other men who were left fighting for their lives.

Psychiatrists later diagnosed her with psychopathic, anti-social and emotional instability disorders.

In an interview earlier this year with the Sunday Mirror, Dennehy’s daughter, Shianne Treanor, revealed how she learned her mother was a monster by googling her name.

The 19-year-old said: “I was told nothing about my mum and I wanted answers. She deserves to spend the rest of her life in prison.

“I’ma sorry for the victims. I can’t imagine what they went through.”

West was jailed life in 1995 for her part in 10 murders, including that of her eight-year-old step-daughter Charmaine. Husband Fred, 53, who had buried some of bodies in their garden in Gloucester, hanged himself in jail while awaiting trial for 12 murders.

West previously served her sentence at Bronzefield jail but was moved to Low Newton in 2008 for her own safety after a plot was discovered to batter her with pool balls in a sock.

She and 35-year-old Dennehy are the only two women in British prisons serving whole life sentences since the death of Myra Hindley in 2002.
