Mane & Mo mad for goals

Sunday Mirror (Northern Ireland) - - Sport - BY JOHN RICHARDSON

TWO Anfield legends insist that Sadio Mane’s public bust-up with fellow striker Mo Salah proves Liverpool are bursting to win their first title in 30 years.

John Aldridge and Michael Owen also both admitted that all the top hitmen in the game are selfish.

Mane exploded in anger in the dug-out shortly after being substituted during Liverpool’s 3-0 win at Burnley last weekend, raging at Salah’s failure to pass when the Senegal star was free inside the area.

Salah, who last season shared the Premier League’s top-scorer Golden

Boot award with Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, had also prompted an icy stare from Klopp earlier in the game when failing to spot Roberto Firmino in another opening.

The season before last saw Salah finish on top of the goalscoring pile
