Moore’s Loving it big time
THEY couldn’t hurry Love in the Oaks as the 1,000 Guineas heroine sauntered to victory.
Backers of the 11-10 favourite began counting their money when Ryan Moore sent the Aidan O’Brien-trained daughter of Galileo to the front at the two-furlong pole.
When they crossed the winning post, the pair had nine lengths to spare over Ennistymon.
Winning jockey Ryan Moore said: “Love is very good - she proved that in the Guineas - but today she took another step forward.
“She was exceptional today. I don’t think that Love could have been any more impressive.
“I don’t know how far she won by, but it seemed like a very long way. She’d be a threat for anything.”
O’Brien landed the race for the eighth time with Love the 49th filly to complete the GuineasOaks double.
The Irish trainer added: “She was working incredibly well. It’s very hard to say that you’d ever have a better filly.”
