Friend’s military leaks lead lothario Russ to think the truth is out there
HE’S had plenty of Close Encounters …and now Russell Brand has admitted he believes in aliens.
The comedian – who claims to have slept with 1,000 women – said extraterrestrials may be “gods” and had “been communicating with us for years”.
His comments come after he struck up a friendship with UFO guru and filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, who believes aliens have been covered up by militaries that seek to learn from their spacecraft.
Corbell has claimed several high-profile leaks featuring “encounters” between UFOs and the US military – most recently 14 craft appearing to swarm the USS Omaha combat ship.
Brand, 46, said of Corbell: “He says it ain’t advanced human tech, there is s**t in there that defies the laws of physics. The [US] government have known about it for ages and they are slowly making these releases.
“It is not a distraction from Covid, it is happening because there is no choice because there has been a whistleblower situation where a bunch of data is being released.
“So it seems to me that life is out there somewhere with crazy creatures and new cultures that will come to you shortly.”
Brand, who was married to pop star Katy Perry but now has a four-year-old daughter with wife Laura Gallacher, told how he was enjoying having “another chance at a family”.
Speaking on LIVENow, he said: “I am switched on to what my job is.
“I know who I am and who I am not, and what I am supposed to be doing.”
