Wife’s ‘not planning to divorce’ monster
A DRAG queen has told the police how killer cop Wayne Couzens sexually assaulted him.
The cross-dresser says he was in costume when the alleged attack took place at a pub three years ago.
And today he claims Couzens growled at him “do you know who I am. I’m a policeman” as he tried to fend him off.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, came forward after seeing 33-year-old Sarah Everard’s killer on TV as he was jailed for murder.
“I recognised him right away and said to my partner ‘that’s him’,” said the drag performer. “I hadn’t reported what he did to me at the time because I thought the police wouldn’t listen. I feel so awful at what happened to Sarah.”
Couzens, 48, was given a whole life sentence a week ago after falsely arresting Sarah as she walked home in South London in March.
He handcuffed, raped and strangled her before burning her body.
The drag queen tells the Sunday Mirror his encounter with the fiend has left him “terrified to go out on my own”. He says he was watching a band at the New Inn pub in Deal, Kent, close to where dad-of-two Couzens lived with wife Elena.

“This man said to me ‘are you having a good night?’ I said ‘yes thank you’.
Then he says Couzens began to touch his backside. “He went round to my groin and I went ‘Oi, stop that. My partner’s over there’.
“He said ‘do you know who I am?’ I went ‘do you know who I f***ing am?’ I told him my drag stage name and he said ‘I’m a policeman’. Then he said ‘do you want to go round the back and give me a b ***** b and we can do things?’.
“I told him to p*** off, took my drinks back to the table and told my partner. When I looked he’d gone. I’m tiny, even in heels. It’s lucky I didn’t go outside.”
The alleged victim made a formal statement last Tuesday naming Couzens, who first served with Kent Police between 2005 and 2009. He joined the Civil Nuclear Constabulary in 2011 and London’s Met in 2018.
A Met spokesman said: “We can confirm we have received a crime report from Kent Police in relation to an allegation of sexual assault at a pub in Deal in the summer of 2018.
“We are keen to hear from anyone with information about any criminality they believe Couzens was involved in.”

The mum of two, 38, has been seen without her wedding ring.
But a pal said: “She says she is not planning to divorce Wayne as it would mean having to divide their hard-earned property and wealth.” They married in 2006 after meeting in Switzerland where Ukranian lab technician Elena worked. Elena’s mum Nina Sukhoreba said: “The story is finished, he is in jail, there is nothing more to say.”
