I’m comforted to know I’m not the only one struggling to wrap my head around the ever-popular evolution of music NFTs. Boy George says: “NFT is out of my depth. But it could be a good way to get music out there. We all live in the digital world – like when we lose our phone, we are f **** d. I am controlled by the digital world, but I enjoy it.” He’s written a song called Egos in the Metasphere and is working on others. Next week he launches a collection of art NFTs called Cryto Queenz. He adds: “Would it not be interesting to own an NFT album where a number of people or one person own it? I want to hide some stuff in the NFTs. Like you have five minutes of silence and you make a cup of tea and that is a hidden album.” Two words: Still. Lost.

How times have changed for David Walliams, whose first show with Matt Lucas didn’t quite live up to expectations.

“Our very first gig... three people had bought tickets in a 100-seater,” he tells Rob Brydon at a charity event in aid of Blood Cancer UK this week. “Someone came into our dressing room and said, ‘Would you mind starting the show late? We have just had a call from three people and they are watching EastEnders and they want to watch the end?’ It was incredible as we doubled the size of the audience to six.”

This week I caught up with BRIT-nominated DJ and producer Regard whose new single Hallucination with Years & Years is out now. Most embarrassing life moment .... Performing for the very first time to my friends in a small lounge. I was shaking all the way through the one-hour set. I was so nervous. Now I’m playing shows and festivals to 100,000 people. Funniest celebrity encounter... At the BRIT Awards last year I was nominated for Best British Single for Secrets with Raye. I met Dua Lipa at the awards, and we were taking selfies. But, unfortunately for her, my camera was in front of hers so I got the shot and she didn’t (sorry, Dua!)

Tell me a secret...

A guilty pleasure of mine is placing bets on football every now and then. I love the sport… I’m still waiting for my lucky big win though.
