Gotta Vitamin C it to believe it..
AFTER being super impressed with their Hyaluronic Acid range, the super peeps at Super Facialist sent me another to try – the Vitamin C+ range.
Just a couple of days before I contracted Covid at the beginning of February, I dug the products received out of their box and started using them, almost as if my body knew what lay ahead.
What did lie ahead was me lying in bed for the next five days feeling the worst I’ve ever felt.
There are so many horrible and nasty things that come with Covid. One of them is dehydration. You can’t get enough fluids into you and no matter how much you drink you still feel like you need more. And the same goes for your skin.
It’s hard to describe, but while I had Covid, and the weeks that followed, I felt crusty. My skin was the driest it has ever been, and a month later, I still don’t think it has caught up.
One of the absolute highlights of my day while I was sick was washing my face. It was the one thing I made sure I had the energy for and I couldn’t have asked for a better product than Super Facialist’s Vitamin C+ Skin Renew Cleansing Oil. It is an absolute joy to use and it has now become one of my morning rituals which I just can’t live without (hot water and lemon being the other one).
It is refreshing, it is luxurious and it never fails to make my face shine like a bright new penny – plus it smells delicious!
I was also lucky enough to have been sent other products in the range including a serum, Skin Defence Daily Moisturiser and Sleep & Reveal Night Cream. The daily moisturiser really complements the Cleansing Oil and gives you a glow which lasts for hours. The serum, I could take or leave as I felt it difficult to distribute across my face, meaning I ended up rubbing my face a bit too hard. The Night Cream is much lighter than what I am used to using and the scent is not typical for a just-before-bed product, but I woke up with skin that felt hydrated and looked bright and dewy, so definitely no complaints. All in all, I am yet again super impressed with this Super Facialist range.
