Skin|Cycles has mask appeal..
I have become a huge fan of face masks. They are not something I ever really indulged in in the past because, honestly, I didn’t think I needed them. And I didn’t.
But I am older now, and so is my skin, and ever so slightly, it is starting to become visibly so.
No one else in my life is noticing the subtle changes, but I am. A tiny bit less elasticity, a tiny bit less hydration and a tiny bit more tiny lines.
So I have jumped on the skin mask bandwagon and it is helping.
However, what I have found is that the majority of ones I have tried were satisfactory, they did what they said they were going to do and I was happy with the results – at least for a little while.
But I have come across a face mask which, well, laughs in the face of all the others. It is the Skin|Cycles by Alice Hydrating Peptide Mask.
The brainchild of New Zealand-born “queen of Harley Street skincare” Alice Henshaw, it is unlike any other sheet masks on the market.
Using state-of-the-art “active transportation” technology, this mask carefully delivers nanosized liposome particles engineered for instant skincell penetration with antiaging benefits, to treat your skin not only externally, but on a cellular level. Providing intense nourishment and moisture penetration, the Bio-Cellulose Silk Mask contains the Skincycles key active ingredient Palmitoyl hexapeptide-12, which significantly increases collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin, improving skin firmness by smoothing wrinkles and correcting age-related damage. It also works as an antioxidant to protect the skin from free-radicals and environmental damage, by binding to the free radicals and returning them to balance before they can harm your cells.
And when used with the Skin|Cycles ultrarestorative Hydrating Cleanser, they are a potent combination.
The cleanser has been carefully formulated by Alice to renew your skin using key protective ingredients such as Buddleja Davidii extract (which strengthens and protects the skin from damaging environmental factors), Vitamin C (a powerful antioxidant which has been proven to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles) and Macadamia Oil (which strengthens the skin’s hydrolipid film and its natural moisture barrier) in a lightweight cream formula. If you’re serious about face masks, you seriously need to try these two products as there is no masking the fact they will step your routine up a gear.
