American cowgirl’s making mooves in fashion so I’ve rounded up some gems
Iwas never a big fan of the country. I suppose it comes from growing up, and living all of my life, right in the centre of town. I would visit friends and family who had nothing but rolling green fields, mooing cows and the unmistakable aroma which comes with both and I always felt it was, exactly as it smelled – crap.
I mean, there’s nothing to do, unless you like tending to the fields and cows, and driving around on a tractor all day.
Which is perfectly fine for some, just not for me.
I like being amongst civilisation. I like being able to walk to the shops, and home from a night out, not having to drive for miles just for a pint of milk – or just an actual pint.
However, as I’m getting older, a part of me (the old part no doubt) has started to see the appeal.
For instance, in the country, you are always guaranteed a great night’s sleep. You are also exposed to endless fresh air, on the days they aren’t spraying all that crap of course.
And, what really appeals to me the most about it is, having a garden big enough to grow my own – oh and keeping alpacas, which is definitely on my “to do” list.
So yes, as you can see, I’m starting to get old and starting to consider growing even older in the country – but I’m not there yet.
However, I am at a point where I am loving the country trend which is big for SS23.
In particular, it is American country with a bit of 70s hippy thrown in for good measure.
As often is the case, it is a trend which is influenced by what we are watching on screen.
