- BY STEVE STAMMERS

JACK WILSHERE will be fit and ready to play a part for England in the international matches in June.

Roy Hodgson’s men face the Republic of Ireland in a friendly and then Slovenia in a European Championship qualifier.

And Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is confident that his midfield star will be available for Hodgson.

“At the moment, every week he is stronger,” said Wenger. “He is getting back to the right level now. Last week was the first week he looked sharp p again.”

Wilshere wass an unused substitute against Chelsea a week ago but is set to play a more meaningful role at Hull tonight as Arsenal look to secure second place in the league. And Wenger made it clear that he sees WilshereW as partpar of the longtermte Arsenal future.f

Manchester City have been linked with Wilshere b but Wenger insisted: ”He is an Arsenal player. I believe the success of the club in future years will depend on how well the young players who were educated here will do. He is part of that.”

Wenger knows Wilshere will be desperate to make the FA Cup final team after he was substitute last season.

“I have 25 that are desperate!” said Wenger. “At the moment there are 30 days to go. My worry is Hull. I don’t care about the FA Cup at the moment.

“Jack’s strength is in the final third, offensively. That is where he really expresses his talent.

“But it is difficult to get in this team, I don’t deny that. If you consider every individual case, you can say you are sorry he doesn’t play.”
