Ryanair axed flights anger
RYANAIR passengers were stranded last night after the airline announced it was cancelling up to 50 flights a day for six weeks.
Some 285,000 customers could be hit by the move, which aims to clear a backlog of crew leave and meet punctuality targets.
Members of a hen party stuck in France said yesterday the cancellation of their flight home was “absolutely disgraceful”.
Another passenger claimed to be “homeless” in Benidorm. Ryanair has “apologised sincerely”.
